World Book Day - The Masked Reader

Following the success of last year and to celebrate this year's World Book Day, once again the LRC presented ‘The Masked Reader’ Tutor Challenge. This event featured a number of RHS staff who were filmed reading “Revolting Rhymes” by Roald Dahl, a collection of traditional stories, with a twist.

Each staff member’s face was hidden behind an animated character, hiding the narrator's true identity. Years 7 - 11 were able to watch the masked reader during Tutorial and were given the task of filling out the question sheet to see how many the tutor groups could guess correctly. The feedback was extremely positive, and seemed to go down a storm with both staff and students alike; there was even a ‘special guest reader’ this year, none other than RHS Head Teacher Mr Davies, whose character was the Bear and read the Three Little Pigs!
