Welcome to Ruislip High School Year 7!

On Tuesday 5th September, 2023, we welcomed our new Year 7 cohort to Ruislip High School. It was a delight to see brand new faces join our ambitious and supportive school community. 

The Year 7s enjoyed the start of their first day at Ruislip High School with an assembly, led by Headteacher, Mr Davies, followed by a tutorial, with their new tutors. Students then headed into their lessons, following their timetables for the day. 

Chloe, 7B, told us: ‘I really enjoyed my first history lesson. Mr Tibbey was really nice and the lesson was really interesting - I am looking forward to learning more.’

Meanwhile, Mohamed, 7B, said: ‘I have enjoyed my first day at Ruislip High School. In particular, I thought this morning’s assembly was good. I liked what Mr Davies said about the school supporting us to achieve our goals and so far all of the teachers have been very kind.’

Ms Loizou, Head of Year 7, said: ‘I truly believe it is a privilege to be the Head of Year 7. It is always so wonderful to be in a position to support students as they make the transition from primary school to secondary school. I have no doubt that this new cohort will prove to be one who will flourish at Ruislip High School and I am very excited to see what they make of the opportunities presented to them. They have made an excellent first impression and I wish them luck for the rest of the term.’
