RHS Celebrates GCSE Results Day
On Thursday 22nd August 2024 we were delighted to congratulate our Year 11 Students on their excellent GCSE results. This is a reflection of their hardwork and dedication throughout their Ruislip High School Journey.
This year’s results have set a new benchmark for success, with 79% of our students achieving grades 4-9. Notably, 33% of our students secured the top grades of 7- 9. After the success of our A Level and BTEC results last week, we are proud that our Year 11 cohort have also exemplified our school’s ethos of ‘hard work equals success’.
Firstly congratulations to Noor who achieved four grade 9s, five grade 8s and one grade 7. Noor told us: ‘I’m grateful for the guidance my teachers have provided me at Ruislip High School and a special thank you to my head of year, Mr Sills, for his constant support.
Velizar said: “I want to thank all my teachers who supported and helped me achieve the best I could. I am looking forward to continuing my studies in the sixth form under the guidance of my teachers.” Velizar achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s.
Reuben who achieved five grade 9s, three grade 8s and two grade 7s said: “I’m pleased that the work I did delivered me the results that I needed. Thank you so much to all the staff at RHS for helping get my results and allowing me to pursue my next step.”
Mr Davies, Headteacher of Ruislip High School, expressed immense pride in the students’ accomplishments, stating, “These outstanding results are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students, especially in the face of what was a really challenging year for the cohort. I would also like to extend my thanks to our staff, whose unwavering support and commitment have played a vital role in our students’ success.”
As our students celebrate their well-deserved success, we are excited to see what the future holds for them. The vast majority will be continuing their academic journey at Ruislip High School’s Sixth Form, while others will be pursuing their passions at colleges and apprenticeships across the region. We are confident our students will continue to thrive and achieve great things in the next chapter of their lives.
