RHS & Sacred Heart Maths Competition

Wednesday 3rd July saw Sacred Heart Primary School and students in year 7 from RHS come head to head in a Maths challenge.

The challenge tested their resilience, perseverance and problem solving skills as well as their ability to work as a team.

The competition consisted of the classic 24 game, an interactive maths trail and some problems solving questions.

The competition was supported by four Year 10 volunteers (Clementine, Honey, Kiya & Nadine) who were fantastic ambassadors for the school and helped to ensure the competition ran smoothly.

The Gold medal had to be decided between a tie breaker question at the end which was won by Sacred Heart (Team D).

Students from both schools had an enjoyable time and the maths department looks forward to hosting many more competitions.
