Post-16 West Herts College Trip

On Monday 13th January, 2025, Ms Hunter and Ms Cooney gave six of our Year 11 students the opportunity to visit West Herts College in Watford. The purpose of the visit was to show students the range of courses on offer at the college, to inspire them for what courses they could consider after their GCSEs. 

The students were shown around the college by a member of West Herts staff, who clearly explained some of the courses on offer. The students were impressed by the facilities at the college, with several of them signing up for courses starting in September 2025. 

The staff at the college were impressed with the impeccable behaviour of our students and shared that they are a credit to RHS. Equally, Ms Cooney said: “Our students got really involved in the morning and showed they are really thinking about their futures. Our tour guide for the morning was fantastic! He really explained what the college has on offer - whilst also giving the students an insight into what college life is like. Thank you to West Herts for having us.”

Overall, the trip was a successful morning. Thank you to Ms Cooney and Ms Hunter for offering our students the chance to think carefully about the wide range of options available Post-16.
