Maths: Game 24
On Tuesday 11th March, 2025, the Game 24 competition brought together thirteen schools from the local area, for an unforgettable day of fierce rivalry and incredible sportsmanship. The event showcased the skills and determination of students, as they competed across a series of questions.
The competition was intense from the start, but the most exciting moment came during the tie-breaker between three top-performing schools. With the scores close, a sudden death tie-breaker was called, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats. The remaining teams battled it out in a final round that tested their teamwork, focus, and resilience under pressure.
While the competition was fierce, the sportsmanship displayed by all the students was equally impressive. Regardless of the outcome, each team showed immense respect for their peers, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the day.
In the end, a winner emerged from the tie-breaker, with first place being awarded to Queensmead Team A. However, all 13 schools were celebrated for their hard work and determination. Although RHS were not the winners this year, our team showed great promise and dedication. The school will no doubt keep working hard and focus on improving for next year's competition, aiming to come back stronger.
Thank you to the Maths Department for organising the event.
