Indoor Athletics Competition
We would like to say a huge congratulations to some of our Year 8 students, who put in an outstanding performance at the Hillingdon Schools Indoor Athletics Competition on Thursday 23rd January, 2025.
Held at Haydon School, our teams - seven girls and six boys - shone at the event, in both track and field events. The girls’ team placed 3rd overall, which was a fantastic achievement in a very competitive field. However, the RHS boys’ team placed 1st - meaning they got to move on to the Hillingdon finals, held on Wednesday 29th January, 2025.
All of the students performed to a high calibre, however we would like to give special mentions to the following students who won their events: Luis J (shot putt), Vinnie MB (triple jump and 2 lap sprint), Sidney B (speed bounce), and Lucas H (2 lap sprint).
