Year 11 Prom
The Year 11 Prom took place on Thursday 30th June at Brunel University’s Hamilton Suite. There was a buzz of excitement outside the school from around 6pm as students arrived to take photos before heading off to the event, with some hiring luxury limos for the journey. They all looked amazing!
The Prom was organised by Ms Smart, Assistant Head of Year 11. During the evening, Mr Alexander, Head of Year 11, spoke to the students, saying again what a superb group they’ve been to work with at Ruislip High. He crowned Eva, 11S as Prom Queen and James, 11C as Prom King, following a student vote.
The evening featured a hilarious ‘flash mob’ dance organised by LRC manager Mrs Austen. Staff showing their moves, some better than others, included Ms Winer, Ms Gouws, Ms Cullen, Mr Palmer, Ms Flynn, Mrs Austen, Mr Maud, Mr Alexander, Ms Smart, Ms Keenan, Ms Winer, Mr Lentini and Mr Maclean.
