Year 11 History trip to Berlin

Year 11 GCSE History students visited Berlin over February half term. Students took part in the trip from Saturday 10th February to Tuesday 13th February. Key sites included the remains of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Students also visited the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. The trip was led by Mr Maud (Head of History), accompanied by Ms Horton, Mr Davies and Mrs Ohana.

Trip leader Mr Maud said, “The students were superb ambassadors for the school and really got to grips with the history they went to witness”.
