Ski trip 2018 visits Italy

The Ruislip High ski trip took place from Saturday 31st March until Saturday 7th April 2018. 50 students from years 8-10 visited the Bardonecchia resort in Italy. Students were accompanied by Mr Palmer, Ms Hill, Ms Cullen, Mr Smithson and Mr Hankin.

Trip leader Mr Palmer said “The ski trip was a fantastic success. The week saw all the students learn to ski to a good level. Every group member was able to ski down the resort’s Olympic run by the end of our time there. The students also took in the culture and natural beauty that Italy has to offer. From start to finish the students conducted themselves in a mature and polite way, and approached everything they did with the right attitude and spirit. Well done!”

Winta in Year 9 said, “The instructors were very helpful and good at explaining techniques. We were in camp smith in Bardonecchia and the weather was great! Everyone had a good time."
