Sixth Form lead the 2018 RHS Macmillan coffee morning

The Sixth Formers took part in Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September, a national charity event that raises money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Both Year 12s and Year 13s got busy baking a whole range of delicious sweet treats, from Lucy's (C63) fabulous salted caramel cupcakes; Natalie's (C63) classic iced fairy cakes; to Saraneyaa's (C63) decadent chocolate cake, there was plenty to choose from - much to the delight of students and staff!

The Sixth Formers worked hard to ensure everyone got a chance to take part in the coffee morning, by sharing the cakes with staff and setting up a stall in the atrium during lunchtimes for the lower school students.

Mrs Ohana, Head of Year 12, said: "This is the first Sixth Form led event of this academic year and as usual our Sixth Form students have demonstrated they are willing to volunteer in order to help others. I am immensely proud of them and I am looking forward to seeing what else they achieve through their volunteering commitments this year."

A huge thank you to all of the students and staff who donated towards this worthwhile cause.
