Presentation Evening 2016

Ruislip High School's annual Presentation Evening took place on Thursday 17th November. It was a wonderful evening celebrating students’ attainment and hard work during the last academic year.

The order of proceedings included opening remarks by the Chair of the Governing Body, Cllr Eddie Lavery, and a review of the year by Headteacher, Dr Martina Lecky.

Musical performances included a vocal solo by Lauren (Year 13), the Year 7 choir and the Ruislip High Ukulele Band. There were also poetry readings by the Key Stage 3 poetry competition winners, Aaron (Year 7) and Tamara (Year 9).

The guest speaker was the school’s first ever head Boy, Karanjeet Sagoo, who reflected fondly about his time at Ruislip High. He has recently graduated with a BSc honours degree in Biomedical Science, and is now fulfilling his life-long ambition as a medical student.

Over 150 students received either form, subject or bestowed prizes and the hall was full to capacity with family members supporting their children’s achievements.
